Jay5
For the life of me, over many computers I can not get any windows vista or windows 7 machine to open a shared folder on the mac. - I went in and turned on SMB sharing - I have done various smb.conf tweaking for authentication level But still nothing. Can anyone get this working? I can find very little on the web about it. Thanks in advance. S.SubZero
Hmm.. what error are you getting? I have a fresh install of Leopard, with File Sharing enabled, and SMB sharing enabled. I only set up my personal user folder to share, but for some reason Leopard offers a bunch of shares, including the root of both OS X and Windows 7 (2nd partition) and the entire Users folder. I have no trouble accessing these from Vista x64 (SP2).
