pxavierperez
it'll be nice if someone can post the detail on how to install Snow Leopard on a PC. Or how different it is, if any, compared to installing Leopard 10.5. Would the Boot 123 scheme still work? Will we need a newer EFI than EFI 9? At least then when 10.6 hits the store we all will be ready. Regards
Vis
"but a few apps didn't and HDA audio requires a new 64-bit driver for the Hackintosh." Is there a 64 hda driver out there?

cnnn
I guess $29 is for an upgrade disc & the installer will check the prior install. Wonder if it will also check the hardware If it checks, does that mean we have to install leopard first and install snow leopard if the system is totally down and need a full restore? I don't think that's gonna happen.

evo.hack
I installed pcefic9 final 2 and substitued boot with the modified boot from the previous pages, added dsmos (x64) in Extra and my dsdt.aml functional in leo and I got a panic. Any ideas? I've tried with an ati 2600pro & a nvidia 7300LE with its EFI string at com.apple.Boot.plist
-=n3rd=-
evo.hack, you may have to use 64bit AppleDecrypt ... I had the same prob. Boot with -v and look if the decrypter loads, if it does, make a screenshot of the kp and upload and share it with us, without we can't help. Make sure you have Disabler.kext as well if you don't already have it, and any other kexts you would normally have to boot Leopard.
