MrPong
I have the same model from Packard Bell, and is determined to get Mac OS X working on it, after I just got my Intel Based stationary computer running Snow 10.6.2 I will try to follow your findings so far, and I also have the GMA500Enabler.kext, to see if it can do some magic. I keep your posted
MrPong
Got some progress - Started out by making DSDT file from Ubuntu - Made a Snow Leopard USB installation stick, with RC4 Boot, DSDT file, GMA500Enabler, Disabler, Fakesmc, and some other kexts (not needed I think). - Started the installation process fine, but the installer is unable to see the HD. - Installed Snow Leopard on my secondary USB stick, and got almost to the end. - The installer ended with a 'Fail to install' - Loaded the RC4 from my first USB stick, and choses my secondary USB stick in the menu. - Snow is loaded perfect anyway, and is running from my USB stick with a USB mouse connected I now have to figure out: 1. Why is the HD drive not showing 2. How to get the TouchPad working 3. See if I can get the Wifi network card to work If I can manage to get these things to work, I think I'm able to make a perfect installation from the USB stick. *edit* Got the mouse to work with Netbookinstaller, but I'm going to try with Leopard to start with. Still no luck with the Hard drive detection.
