I have watched the video and although I am no expert you seem to be getting halted at your DVD ROM drive. Instead of using the cpus switch try directing the boot loader to the actual disk using the switch "mach_kernel=diskxsy" then the -v. X is the disk number starting with 0,1,2 etc and the y is the partition. In your case you have an IDE DVD drive so i would recomend trying an external USB DVD drive as well to see if you have any luck. That is about the extent of my booting knowledge as each disc I tried with my machine got at least to the installer and after reboot waiting for root error. I was able to figure it all out though and have a fully functioning HP a6430f phenom Hackintosh. The best distro that I have used on other systems has been iPC 10.5.6. I would try burning that disc again at a very slow speed or maybe on another burner. I hope this helps you get to the installer screen.
