LonelyTV
According to my Software Update Mac Os X Update 10.5.7 is available for download. I'm currently downloading it now and will give it a try. I'm waiting to download it as System Update is telling me it'll take 25+ hours to download a 500meg file. Perhaps the servers are getting slammed now. Is it available for anyone else? I can't find it on Apple's website.

unrealmusic
I will wait for the dust to settle before applying the update Same, also a bit weary of the whole 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' general rule if it all goes wrong... since it's typically my luck lol! So I'll let some others ginea pig it first

hinhale
Upgrade went fine for me. Gigabyte ga-ep45-ds3l e6400 6gb ddr2 sata+ide disk drives Chameleon RC1. Only had to re-apply AppleHDA.kext and HDAEnabler.kext to get sound working.
dp88
Has anyone tried this with a core i7? If so, does it work with the vanilla kernel? Are there any support kexts needed when you use the vanilla kernel?
popu
I haven't tried it on my Hackintosh but I did try in my Leopard VMware VM and it trashed it. Won't boot after the update. Weird thing is, even in verbose mode it shows nothing but a black screen while the CPU is pegged at 100%. I'm interested in this update because it's suppose to fix something related to the mouse and video performance with nVidia cards. I'm wondering if it fixes the AppleUpstreamUserClient.kext issue where iTunes and video playback would screw up the mouse.
