Since 10.5.6 the auto wake/start up schedule in the Energy Saver options is no longer working

neither on a laptop ( pavilion dv4000 ) , nor a desktop ( Gigabyte MA770 DS3 , AMD X2 5200+ )

sleep/restart/shutdown were working correctly directly after install on the laptop and on the desktop

I had to install the VoodooPower.kext to make them work ( otherwise i was getting a restart on shtudown and a sleep on restart :P)

Even more strange - setting the automatic power on in the bios doesn't work either , neither does the wake/start up on mouse/keyboard click options , I mean how can OSX influence the bios ?

All these features are very handy and I don't want to lose them . The little I found on the subject is only concerning old releases - Tiger and 10.5.2 , or maybe the forum search is not working properly - it returns results only from 2006 - early 2007 . So if anyone has a hint on the subject ...

Does autowake work for someone in 10.5.6 or 10.5.7 ? It does not work for me. Even when I have a wakeup event in

/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.AutoWake.plist

the system ignores it and does not wake automatically. I have to press the power button manually to wake the machine up.
