gfxl Posted May 1, 2009 Share Posted May 1, 2009 I've tried iDeneb 1.4 and now I'm trying iPC 10.5.6. In both cases whenever I install a kext it becomes installed successfully, but it doesn't function. I've tried kext helper, OSx86Tools and installing manually. In each case they are installed and all, I can see them when I do a kextstat on the terminal but they do not function. I tried installing ethernet drivers, sound drivers and multiple fixes. Nothing seems to do anything. I have problems restarting and shutting down and I can't seem to fix it without installing some sort of kext. Any ideas what I can do? ALC1200 Audio Drivers - Sound drivers, supposed to give me sound. OpenHaltRestart.kext - Supposed to fix halt on shutdown and restart. And a few other fixes like AHCI fix and what not. None of them seem to do anything. The only reason why I got my video drivers to work is because it came in a .pkg format. If I could get my ethernet and sound drivers working I would be well satisfied. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's been weeks now and I can't figure this out.
