abscheele
Hey, I was wondering if I could play some newer games in my xp vm? I have 4gb's of ram so I dont think that would be a problem, but I am worried that I might not have enough video memory for both xp and osx if I am running say crysis. I know my performance wont be as nearly as good as running xp nativly but I am still interested in trying this One last thing, would adding an additional 4gb's of ram help at all? abscheele
also just wondering what would offer better performance VMWare Fusion 2.0 or Parallels Desktop 4.0? abscheele
so I dl'ed the 30 day trial of vmware fusion 2.0 and tried Unreal Tournament 3, UT3 with all settings on low at 480x800 was a little more than a slide show. I will maybe try some other games tomorrow, but for now I am pissed at how slow the performance is especially considering I can run the game maxed in XP. If anybody wants me to try other games feel free to post  Thanks, Alec Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/160037-gaming-in-vmware-fusion/#findComment-1120978 Share on other sites
