bliss
I'm starting to buy into the whole 'he was an apple employee' bit a litlte more every week that he is gone. I mean it fits perfectly, he sets out to get all the people started and we all depend on him, then when the updates start rolling out we will be left in the dust and all of us that would never have bought a mac in the first place (not me, have PB and MDD G4) love OSX so much now we go out and buy the actual thing. yea its a great tactic to get customers. when apple released the intel macs, apple also "released" osx86 with the mythos maxxuss. we all love osx but when leopard comes out theres no maxxuss to crack it. so what can we do? throw away our hackintoshs to buy a real mac and apples tactic worked. btw microsoft released copys of windows 95 on the net (usenet?) to make it popular and make windows the strongest os on the pc marked... bwhsh8r
I think that he is probobly just laying low, and it is quite possible that he just created a new user so that he could log on and start anew with out the apple laywers being able to prove that they are the same people and so that it looks like maxxuss is gone so they give up on maxxuss and go after other people with out maxxus actuially having to stop. Also why would Apple release a hacked anything of theyres intentionially, because it shows people that A) it can be done it will give future hackers a base instead of having to hack the whole thing they just have to hack the additions and C) they are making no money off of this and they are LOSING hardware sales, witch is where they make a big portion of theyre money. Once its hacked, it will remain hacked until it is reenginered, aka whole new os, or all the parts previously hacked COMPLETLY removed and rewritten. it seems most logical, think people, THINK max

xSuRgEx
its allways good to donate to this site. i did it back when the very erly dev kit dvd was released. with out maxxuss we might have never had this wounderfull os runnin on our normal pcs. its a privlige to be a member here and more so to be able to run Mac OS X on non mac hardware. It woud be nice if maxxuss came back when 10.5 comes out.
AppleLegal
Well, i dont really feel like reading 10 pages of idea's, so i'll just state my thoughts on this. Maxxuss left. He got bored of osx86 and decided to work on something else. I honestly dont see why this is a huge surprise - or even that big of a deal. He is NOT the only person in existance that knows what they're doing in terms of hacking osx86. I know for a fact that there were other people working on cracking 10.4.1, 10.4.3, 10.4.4 when he was doing the same. They just took more time and were going about it a different way. belgrano
Well, maxxuss leaving it's not surprising at all (to me at least). Only that we have such a good time making up paranoid theories and showing off our shiny tinfoil hats.

I mean granted it would be nice if he didn't leave but it's not like we would have to give up hope.
munky
i think someone else has taken the domain and is yanking our collective chain. hopefully not, but i dont like to be made a fool. if its him, i will rejoice, but im not going to rise to this bait. james2mart
true, munky. ra_will_kill tried to pull something funny a couple weeks back, because he has some control over the domain. but this text "my return is imminent" is alot more of maxxuss' style, but it could be another leg-pulling. However, no one has been able to develop a kernel since maxxuss. As of now, the only effort i've seen of kernel hacking is going on at hackintosh with 4.5 and 4.6 kernels. No luck as of yet, though. sam_the_killer
It seems very funny and filmy actually, the way the site is displaying the different messages about MAXXUSS, as if something wrong might have hapenned and that the CLIMAX of the movie will be revealed.. and yes, if MAXXUSS is there, will he not consider displaying the message's on his own site like the one named maxxuss.org.., this site maxxuss.com is intentionally made to misguide the topic and to collect some attention and nothing else...
