ChuckDSanders
Hey I have a buddy that I am trying to install Leopard on his E1405 with GMA 950. We can install leopard and run the patches, however after we try to boot it just get past the boot loader and then restarts the machine. Is there a different post patch that I should run after the install than the regular brazil mac one? Thank you again for all your help.

macgirl
REASONS FOR SAYING THAT? Because I made my Leo instalation on my Dell Laptop with BrazilMAC method/guide and then I installed the PC EFI 3,4,5 and 5.1 and works perfectly, it even accept the 10.5.1 without modifying one sigle thing. Is possible that it could not work, but it not depends of the BrazilMAC DVD, it depends on which hardware you have, but since this is a thread for Dell Core Duos that afirmation is false. TheGreatDeceiver
Sleep works very well on my E1505 with latest netkas sleep kernel. But I'm not able to boot with both cores (SIGPIPE ERROR) ....fullstack can you elaborate on this a little more? what are your hardware details?I heard that it's either speedstep or sleep. if you use the sleep kernel you won't get speedstep. can you confirm this? or did they come up with a new kernel? Not that I see in the channels.thanksPretty Unusable here! I wonder if its because Juan has core duo not core 2 duo ?I have the same config as Juan with core duo. Only one is working under Leo (10.5.1, efi). I tried all kinds of kernels and kexts, no go. If I enable both Leo doesn't even boot. not sure how he got it to work. according to the channels it's impossible unless you can live with lots of stuttering. Can somebody point me to a good solution for the mouse cursor problem?Image here:http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/3186/picture2ca9.png looks like iGuru is getting closer to a solution. However, i tested few times vanilla's kernel on this beta release, and i confirm, sleep out works perfectly. But GUI relaunch itself each minute, that's the big deal. what i used: -kalyway's DvD -Efi bootloader -Vanilla's kernel and applesmbios.kext from package (that's all). -need to remove appleefiruntime.lext and AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext But as i said, i can't test it on Toh or brazilmac. I`ll try again, maybe the kext will help me get it booted and maybe sleep will work. I doubt it cuz with me with vanila kernel it reboots when it says "Starting OSX"
