eezee1024
Hi everybody, Before telling u my problems i want to thank the OSX86 community for their great job! I tried to get OSX working several times with no success but then i found this site. Im absolutely new to Mac OS and have some problems with my hardware: Its a notebook Fujitsu Siemens Amilo M 1424 Widescreen Im running Version 10.4.4 1.:My GraphicsChip is an Radeon Mobilty 9600 (M10). QE and CI is working good, i only have few artefacts. But i cant use the native Resolution of the Display (1280x800). I already tried some tips out of this forum but nothing worked for me. Has somone made to get this Card working with Widescreen Resolution? 2.:Although its said, that the Realtek RTL8139 Ethernet is working without Problems, i cannot get this thing running. At boottime it says that there is a load/link problem with /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingfamily/Contents/Pugins/AppleRTL8139.kext Any Ideas? I could not try the 10.4.3 Extension cause i dont have it, maybe someone could send me a email with a tip... 3.:Is there a functional driver for the Intel Pro/Wireless 2200BG WLAN-Device? I need one with AP-functions. 4.:The Fan of my Notebook is blowing all the time. ANd i think the CPU is working at the full speed of 1800MHz when only idle. Is there a solution of (automatic) clocking and voltage-adjustment? If u want some detailed hardware info i will post it. Thats all for now, have a nice day everyone. And if these problems are solved i will only use OSX and recycle my Win. Fuzzlet
1. Widescreen support will come when omni releases his framebuffer driver, until then, you are stuck with what you got. 2. Someone should be able to provide you with this, it's an opensource driver. 3. No. 4. Some people are working on speed stepping right now, http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=14915 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/15269-need-help-on-some-hardware/#findComment-97899 Share on other sites

Fuzzlet
1. It will, the Framebuffer and QE/CI portions are seperate, and they figured out how to link them. So as far as we know, if you have QE/CI now, you'll have it after. At boot the right adress of the adapter is recogniized but when gui comes up tere is a message, that the extension cannot be loaded or is installed wrong. in network-preferences its shown up green (with the right ip and it says thats there is a connection to the internet) when clicking on "configure" the network-preferencs close immediately any suggestions?
