twilightstar Posted February 1, 2009 Share Posted February 1, 2009 Ok so I have B & W 2 for PC on a cd and have XP installed. This is a brandy new macbook pro, meets the ram and harddrive req. I have DirectX 10 installed, but for whatever reason I put the first disc in, it loads, gets to the first bar of installation where it says "Installing DirectX 9c" and crashes. What can I do? David Schlüter Posted February 2, 2009 Share Posted February 2, 2009 I never had any problems with installing direct x, my BW2 works fine. Maybe install a different direct x or better. Or in my case usually windows is corrupt, I usually have problems with windows getting corrupt so I have to reinstall, the more I use windows the more likely it is that I need to reinstall it. My windows is corrupt again, but I dont feel like reinstalling it, just to play games on it.
