Ashgotti
read some of the guides. i had same problem, wouldnt let me select a parition so i had to go back to windows, delete the partition using partition magic, leave the unalloacated space and use diskpart to make the partition. follow this: http://www.slikone.com/ocbb/viewtopic.php?sid=&f=7&t=68 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/15072-problems-mounting-hdd/#findComment-97812 Share on other sites

/es
Make sure you create a primary type AF partition before installing. There are guides everywhere, I don't know why people are omitting this step. Look here. And follow the first few steps. Diskutil should see your drive after that and allow you to format or erase the space in it. Let us know your progress.
