CrystalZaK Posted February 2, 2009 Share Posted February 2, 2009 the package didn't worked for me... garbaged screen after booting into leopard (blue screen turning into different colors...quite beautiful but i'd prefer see the card working ) It was the same thing when i tried the steps that YannickD gave to us earlier, with fujilives packages... Something linked to the IOReg then? My chipset is a ICH8. @Ridgeline : i'm on windows actually, i've downloaded mIRC then entered the chat but impossible to find the channel #RadeonHD... Then it dont matter if it is nvidia, amd, intel etc etc chipset or what cpu there is.. As long it i s an 3650 then there is an chance it might work. The People that have garblet screen after the install of the kexts, if you have an external screen you can try becouse then i think it will help lastExile, becouse if the garblet screen then just are on the internel screen or it works on both screen it is still an step. And also keep in mind. It might not work. It is ok to hope but lets not set an to high hope on all radeonhd mobillity cards working. we still might end back where we weas before and that is they still dont work. i hate to be the partypooper in this, but i also hate to see people's dreams get crused.. I noticed this thread had my name in it, and noticed I also have several messages from people asking how this was done. As many of you know, I did MANY MANY MANY trials - and some weren't just for me. Long after I stopped having a setup to test on (I turned this, the computer I am writing to you on now, into a render machine for video files while I play my games and look up my porn on my main machine ^^). This could be one of the many test files I uploaded but did not test myself - so I dont know until I get the exact files or links from him. I still have all my files hosted and I get about 300 megs worth of download from them each day - which is pretty odd, but I guess there are a lot of people out there trying to solve this problem. Anyhow, to the person who finally got it working with one of my trials, its awesome to know there is a hope to get my own working - and the thousands of others out there with this issue. I'll look into this more over the next couple days, I should have some time tomorrow at work if nothing else. Do you have the exact link to the "trial" file you used that was a success? I dont want you to lose what you have, so if I were you I'd make a hard-copy backup of your entire drive, theres a great program out there called carbon copy cloner (been a while, but think thats what its called) that I used when I was doing my trials - I'd reccommend backing that up because theres a possibility you may never again be able to replicate whatever the hell you did to get full hardware acceleration. -- UPDATE -- After looking things over, I see you used THIS FILE to get your video working. I dont remember if I tried that personally or not - I do know I saw someone had said they got a blue screen that went to black screen using that trial before I got a chance to use it (just glancing back at the topic posted way back in november). Anyhow - one thing I did notice is you had upgraded to 10.5.6. I am curious, did you try this trial AFTER you updated to 10.5.6? I'm thinking something in 10.5.6 may have laid the groundwork for letting the trial 2 file work, as in, installing that after the 10.5.6 update works, but installing it with 10.5.5 might not have. I can also see HD3600 in "entriesToAdd", did you add this ? or is it lastExile add from his 3600 pkg ?
