EDIT: I am using the IATKOS_r3 version of MAC OS X.

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening all,

I've been working on this project for some time now, Have gotten myself stumped on how to go about fixing the final aspect of the installation.

I get the OS installed in VMWARE, get the OS installed but it will not boot. It comes up with a message saying

"THE CPU HAS BEEN DISABLED BY GUEST OPERATING SYSTEM"

I've checked my hardware specs, and my Processor can support a MAC OS with SSE2 and SSE3 compatibility.

My current computer is as follows if this helps ... (Searched all over the net for the past 3 days straight, cannot find any relevant information on this fault for my particular computer - tried numerous things such as install with different patches and kernels, no combination seems to work.

My specs are as follows:

DV6700Z

Processor : Intel® Core™ Duo - T7250 @ 2.00GHZ

2GB of Ram

Vista Ultimate 64-bit

VMWARE version 6.5 (Don't think this matters to much as I've gotten through the installation successfully).

Added a photo of motherboard as I do not want to rip my laptop apart (Again).

MOTHERBOARD

I am vitualizing the hard drive that im using, if it works for the install it should work for the boot of the OS also.

Please help, This was my only option.

I've searched through this forum about the matter, but none of its been of great assistance. it got me as far as the boot though which im extremely happy with. 99% of the way there.

Your help would be fantastic,

I'm Virtualising this program so that if it works on VMWARE then it should work on my local machine.

Regards,

Andrew

I believe I may require some Processor updates for this particular version of MAC OSX for my hardware, but unsure on what ones I need to slip stream into the installation.

If anybody has the files I require to do this, please give me know the URL to get them and i'll slip stream and try installation again.

If you guys/girls require any other information to help me sort this fault out, that'd be greatly appreciated.
