Ouch
Bored of Apple's bland ivory colour scheme, the new macbook may be just the Intel notebook your looking for: Source: The Register " Apple's upcoming Intel-based iBooks - now firmly believed to ship under the MacBook brand - may see the company once again offer the product in a range of coloured cases not seen now four more than four years. Apple's flirtation with colour began in May 1998 when it launched the original iMac. At the time it was only available in blue and white, but the following January, Apple launched a range of colours, and subsequent versions of the all-in-one, CRT-equipped computer sported new shades, until Apple introduced the all-white LCD model in January 2002. johnniecarcinogen
White and black seems quite probable since ipods are available in those colors. My roommate wants some bright, loud color reminisant of the old clamshell ibooks so there is a market out there for that (she's a girl). I personally like the ivory. DiaboliK
i would actually like to see a clear version. it is possible to get all the ivory paint off of the ibooks with isopropyl alcohol. but i would rather buy a clear one than make it clear. Ouch
I took the ivory paint off my old ibook with methylated spirits but it was a real pain in the ass to do, and doing it without scratching was really hard. The insides don't look very attractive either - covered in foil sticky tape, and rought aluminium sheeting.
hw52715
Or what about a Beige Mac? Until when I shortly bought a TFT screen, the only beige parts on my x86 computer were my speakers and my Apple 17 inch trinitron screen...
