But I did a XBench on IDeneb and MAC OS X Retail and the score obtained by IDeneb was higher than MAC OS X Retail... So it's useless to install a Retail Mac OSX? Don't jump into any conclusion....Check the benchmarking on your system and then Decide........ Just a moment ago I did XBench on both the system and found that MAC OS X Retail is faster than IDeneb............ So the conclusion is that don't trust Xbench............. I Like MAC OS X Retail.................We can update the system without any problem and it is stable as well.... See Step 5 to create the USB Flash Drive if you have not created it yet. I have two sata hard drives set up in a fakeraid/dmraid 0 array, is it possible to install os x on to one partition on the array? Now every time my computer start, I need type 80 (for first disc) and select 2nd partition for startup. Can do it with edit syslinux.cfg file on FAT32 partition? This cfg on flash drive work well with OSX auto startup: PROMPT 0 TIMEOUT 0 DEFAULT /mboot.c32 /boot --- /initrd.img APPEND biosdev=81 on my HDD's first Fat32 partition, cfg is: PROMPT 0 TIMEOUT 0 DEFAULT /mboot.c32 /boot --- /initrd.img APPEND biosdev=80 When my computer start with HDD, it auto load my first HDD (80), but it stop at select partition. gnaarf Posted January 7, 2009 Share Posted January 7, 2009 I wanted to add that I'm now able to get into boot-132 through Grub (an so dual-boot with Linux works). Just copied the boot-132 files to my linux-boot-partition (ext2-formated in my case). Then I added following lines to my /grub/menu.lst: title Mac OSXkernel /macosx/boot modulenounzip /macosx/initrd.img I put the boot-132 files into the /macosx folder on my boot-partition of course. The USB stick is set as active and I did everything like in the Tutorial but I don't know what went wrong! I'm using Win Vista. 1st: Downloaded the 2 .rar files and unzipped them to C:\1 2nd: Run CMD and did everthing as shown in Tut 3rd: Copied the files on the Stick 4th: Boot Error. Whats wrong?
