I've tried 3 times to do a direct update. The major problem is, the update will load intelcpupowermanagement.ktext and a couple others that will stop the update half way through at 10.5.5. If i do the combo updates 1 at a time to 5.4 everything goes well until 5.5 then the cpupower problem pops up ( you have 10 seconds to move it to trash at the start of install) and with 5.6 also, which is what i have now 10.5.6. I still don't know what the benefits of up grading is, I've ask here but no one answered. I just upgraded for the challenge. i'm not very mac smart.

My Kernel is 9.2.0 Darwin Kernel Version 9.2.0 made by ToH.

I think that i must read the topic that Phoenix789 told me.

Does anyone know a free program (for MACOS) that i can see my PC configuration with details?
