dima_saransk
Hi failurbydesign, I use superduper beckup and it never bootable. You can download OSX Tools it will make your clone bootable. Also you can reinstall your system and restore from clone disk. wally1956
I always install this after the backup is complete, install it to the backed up drive. Has always worked for me after a SuperDuper backup won't boot. MaaseyRacer
Clone disk = your cloned hard drive. Boot it with a Boot 132 image, and then run OSX86 tools I think you need to run the diskutil thing when it says install EFI. That should make it bootable again. hecker
You could try booting with your install DVD and the parameters: rd=diskXsY at the darwin prompt. Replace X and Y with the appropriate identifier values for your Leo partition. If you have no idea what the identifier number of your drive is, then boot with your install DVD and input this in the terminal: diskutil list It will show you a list with all of the drives/partitions of your system including their "identifiers". Good luck! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/141437-superduper-backup/#findComment-1007496 Share on other sites

tigger1980
hello, if your using hackingtosh than do this. 1. Back up using CarbonCopyCloner Free 2. to make back up drive bootable (in my case) i had to install the bootloade Charmilion or EFI_9 in to the back up drive and works like a charm it seems that everything is copied except the Bootloader!! I use the Retial Leopard methord with boot132 i'm not sure if it will work with keelway and iatkos etc. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/141437-superduper-backup/#findComment-1040954 Share on other sites
