jrii
Confirmed: Atl1ekext_x64_20100430 works with lion 10.7.4 on P5QC. Nice!
DoubleDroz
Does anyone have this working with WOL yet? I've been looking in IORegistry comparing a macbook pro with my hackintosh - there's a few things I that exist in the real Apple IOReg that don't exist in the Hackintosh's, but I have no idea how I would go about editing them and seeing if it would work - does anyone know of anyone that has managed to hack Wake-On-Lan onto their ATL1E? wxe911
Acer 6930 or 6930g owner. In order to get the built-in wired port to work with this driver provided here, you also need to replace the IOPCIFamily kext from this site: http://www.osx86.net/view/2110-iopcifamilly_for_acer_6930g!!!.html In my case: Snow Leopard 10.6.8 Acer Aspire 6930 Atl1ekext_x64_20100430.zip ==> Attansic/Atheros L1E Ethernet kext for Snow Leopard Above mentioned IOPCIFamily kext. With this combination my Built-in LAN port is working. The IOPCIFamily kext also solved another problem. Often when loading Snow Leopard the laptop would hang. I guess with the modded kext the PCI bridges are initialised properly now. Good luck to you Acer owner's
photosurrealism
I have an Eee PC I got from woot back in 2009. Works great as a Mac except the wireless. I recently pulled it out to see if things had gotten better, and I still can't get it to work. The sticker on the bottom says it's a 900A, but I recall that several very different machines have the same model number. I have added memory and replaced the flash drive with a bigger and faster one. It's running Mac OS X 10.6.8. It has a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 and the following devices: 00:00.0 Host bridge [0600]: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GME Express Memory Controller Hub [8086:27ac] (rev 03) 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GME Express Integrated Graphics Controller [8086:27ae] (rev 03) 00:02.1 Display controller [0380]: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS/GME, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller [8086:27a6] (rev 03) 00:1b.0 Audio device [0403]: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller [8086:27d8] (rev 02) 00:1c.0 PCI bridge [0604]: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) PCI Express Port 1 [8086:27d0] (rev 02) 00:1c.1 PCI bridge [0604]: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) PCI Express Port 2 [8086:27d2] (rev 02) 00:1c.3 PCI bridge [0604]: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) PCI Express Port 4 [8086:27d6] (rev 02) 00:1d.0 USB Controller [0c03]: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) USB UHCI Controller #1 [8086:27c8] (rev 02) 00:1d.1 USB Controller [0c03]: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) USB UHCI Controller #2 [8086:27c9] (rev 02) 00:1d.2 USB Controller [0c03]: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) USB UHCI Controller #3 [8086:27ca] (rev 02) 00:1d.3 USB Controller [0c03]: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) USB UHCI Controller #4 [8086:27cb] (rev 02) 00:1d.7 USB Controller [0c03]: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) USB2 EHCI Controller [8086:27cc] (rev 02) 00:1e.0 PCI bridge [0604]: Intel Corporation 82801 Mobile PCI Bridge [8086:2448] (rev e2) 00:1f.0 ISA bridge [0601]: Intel Corporation 82801GBM (ICH7-M) LPC Interface Bridge [8086:27b9] (rev 02) 00:1f.2 IDE interface [0101]: Intel Corporation 82801GBM/GHM (ICH7 Family) SATA IDE Controller [8086:27c4] (rev 02) 00:1f.3 SMBus [0c05]: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) SMBus Controller [8086:27da] (rev 02) 01:00.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Attansic Technology Corp. L1 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter [1969:1026] (rev b0) I think I've tried all the 32-bit Intel versions of the L1E at the Google Code site, but the machine doesn't recognize it has an AirPort at all. I tried removing all the devices and clearing the plist files and it detects the Ethernet (which works fine) but not the AirPort. Any ideas? I have not used the machine much because of the lack of WiFi, so it'd be really exciting if I could get this to work.

Please note: - AR8114 it's related with the ATL2E not ATL1E. - ATL1 Info.plist edit won't work, because ATL1 and ATL1E are not the same thing. You are lucky, ENJOY IT Just for the records, the kext for Atheros L1E works in High Sierra 10.13.5 just fine. Using: P5p53TD mobo with x5460 xeon Thanks!
