dponmac Posted April 5, 2006 Share Posted April 5, 2006 Anyone with Vista have any success with quicktime/iTunes? the second i try to launch iTunes or go to a website that uses Quicktime, it shuts my Desktop Composition off, and then I still don't get any playback!!! Nickhamm Posted April 6, 2006 Share Posted April 6, 2006 It turned off my deaktop composition, but I got both Quicktime and iTunes to work just fine on both machines I put Vista on. The first was a Dell Inspiron 6000 with an ATI x300 and 512MB RAM and the second was a custom PC with a Soyo MB, Celeron D 2.93GHz, ATI 9550SE, and 768MB RAM. tripleboot Posted April 11, 2006 Share Posted April 11, 2006 Vista has been very frustrating for me. I've had the most success with the integration of programs with 5219 on my PC. I installed 5308 three times and 5342 twice to how programs would react each time. Sometimes errors, sometimes not. Very much beta and not even close to being your primary PC.
