first,,

when you stuck at 16384 buffer headers thing..

it means you use 4bg or more rams,, if u use 2 gb only, the number will change into 14805

second,,

try to find old AppleACPIPlatform.kext and AppleAPIC.kext from JAS or other source

if it's in pkg --> extract it with pacifist in working OSX (your mac, your friend's mac, your friend's hackintosh, whatever..)

add those 2 files into /S/L/E from transmac in windows

restart ur comp

boot into osx with -s

repair owner n permissions of those 2 files

delete mkext

reboot

note:

if u still stuck at those, maybe you can try to boot with cpus=1 too

yes, it means you can use 1 core only

later you can fix it with this thread

I am going through the same issue - Im running the iPC Beta Version.

My Specs are:

Intel Q6600

Asus P5Q-E (P45)

Gainward HD 4850

2GB Corsair Dominator

Have been having that problem for quite some time.

It seems it happens to a lot of people who have P45 chipset

Clipz mention that it is something with the RAM - In my case it does say 16384 even though I'm using 2GB Ram & I had to use "CPUS=1" option when booting to DVD it worked, but after successful install it just hangs on that line when booting - tried -s option, but still the same.
