guyin916
Wow, I didn't see any high PPC scores, so here's mine:CPU: 1.67 2 Gigs of RAM 17" Powerbook (You can check the Apple website for the rest of the info if you need it) Score: 137.2 http://ladd.dyndns.org/xbench/merge.xhtml?doc2=117132 (For Stats) I hope this helps for comparison. Good Luck guys! wish this guy would run his xbench under 1.2 instead of 1.1.3... baseline of 1.2 is a baseline 100.00 using a G5 2.0 gigahertz i believe, while xbench 1.1.3 is using a G4 800 MHz.. big difference on the scale, eh? -p

guilliamo
The excellent <http://xlr8yourmac.com/> news page for Friday 1/13/06 has links to XBench scores for the new Intel-inside iMacs. The Xbench data also reveals that the installed version of 10.4.4 for Intel is 8G1165. Am surprised that scores aren't higher...especially the "User Interface Test" ! Careless
looking at all these results, i think i have the highest ones for someone with OpenGL enabled on a nVidia card, and without them enabled, i still get a lot higher marks than those who get like 170 on OpenGL on their Intel/ATi setups looking at all these results, i think i have the highest ones for someone with OpenGL enabled on a nVidia card, and without them enabled, i still get a lot higher marks than those who get like 170 on OpenGL on their Intel/ATi setups Can't walk the walk without talking the talk, i suppose.. attached are my results in x86pc platform with no OpenGL enabled in tests. and then acpi platform with OpenGL enabled. performance in both modes are pretty much identical. here they are xbench_x86pc_114.29_noOGL.txt xbench_ACPI_97.13.txt Edited January 17, 2006 by Careless

Extremely high scores (over 200), appear to be due to particular machines that don't have hardware OpenGL support drawing "nothing" very quickly. I hope to resolve this issue in a future release. " -p my openGL scores are 50. and it draws nothing. and when i turn OpenGL off, it actually goes to 117 being my highest Xbench. please understand tha i'm practically running this on an FX-60 processor due to my overclock. and i could clock it higher, but i have to reapply my thermal paste, which i will be doing in the following week. my results can actually be seen in text format further up the page, but im going to post this screeny. ALSO.. the Dual Core AMD Bug hit right about at the time where the bezier test comes in, with the text and stuff. for those that don't know. the Dual Core AMD Bug is the one where Cool n Quiet is not disabled in OSx, and it doesnt handle the CPU Throttling correctly.. therefore it starts to stutter uncontrollably. in order for me to take a proper test, i have to restart the OS and do it AS SOON as it pops up. i tried, but some females were messaging me on MSN, so i had to shake them off first. here it is.
