ocZZZ Posted July 3, 2010 Share Posted July 3, 2010 The tweaking part was getting the cpu speed from 160 to where it is now. i7's and the x58a-ud3r have problems and took a bit of tweaking to get it at the "normal" speed needless to say, the new system is considerably faster than the old one XBench is pretty useless for Cpu speed testing. According to it both my Q9550 @ 4.1 GHz and E7400 @ 4 GHz are faster than i7 @ 4.2 GHz:) DDR3 of course just kills DDR2 in memory speed.
