eLECTROSONIC
what kind of system do you have? It`s a Intel D820 Dualcore CPU at 3,22GHZ on ASUS P5WD2 Premium, 200GB Samsung SATA2 HDD, 2GB of PC4300 DDR2 RÁM, My Graphics adapter is ATI x550 with 128MB. I spent a lot of time to get everything working. I have edited the Radeon 9700.kext with hexeditor etc, enabled Quarz extreme 2D permanently and i use DVI so there is no sync. I think Xbench recognizes only 1 CPU core becuase on my Athlon64 3000 system i have the same CPU score. I didn`t found a solution expected the Boinx tool to eleminate the mousetearing. That don`t makes me happy. Now i have ordered the Geforce 6600GT Pci-e original from Apple. This should kill the problem. My next projekt is the transplantation of my hardware in a original G5 case... I think it will be a lot of work. Greetz eLECTRO
Dee S. 73
Now i have ordered the Geforce 6600GT Pci-e original from Apple. This should kill the problem. ?? As Apple doesnt sell any intel pci-e equipped comp you are probably referring to a PPC video card.... and that wont work in pc boards.. pc guy
Here is my results for Dell Inspiron 6000: Xbench score: 64.3 Mac OS X 10.4.3 Intel Pentium 1.6GHz 1GB Memory 128MB ATI X300 (after patching got it to work nicely and also play IDVD) Anyone else has the same laptop as I do? I wonder what your score is. My laptop is running fast. I didn't do xbench before the memory upgrade so don't really know how much different it really made.
