yea i just noticed that too.
must have to do with screen res/ overlaying images.

atleast we KNOW that the openGL is THERE, because it is being processed. its just that the videocard doesn't seem to want to detect it during driver installation.

I don't know about that. . . Halo, it doesn't even get past the splash screen without OpenGL. If you want OpenGL, just get an ATi Radeon X800 and do Koverg's hack, then you'll have QE/CI, and OpenGL. . . and a pretty powerful GPU.

My first xbench test results as of yesterday when i installed 10.4.5 from the restore disc after using the 209 meg file from the demon when using 10.4.3 before reults were in the 60's

OK my scores have taken a DUMP. SAME EXACT HARDWARE. I suspect that he video drivers have been locked down a but more since 10.4.3...if it weren't for compatibility I would go back!

Any clue? I know that this synthetic benchmark is BS anyway, I can get fairly different results just by running it over and over, but still.

As i say when i was running 10.4.3 my results were 65 and below now on this 10.4.5 install results are 75 and upwards and also with this install i have two games running now that used to have colours so messed up you couldnt play but now with 10.4.5 theyre perfect " Tropico 2 pirates cove + Robin Hood "

I couldnt be happier with this install for me its the best yet

Here are my results, after upgrading from 10.4.3 to 10.4.4, then applying the 10.4.5 patch.

inability to not run opengl doesn't report an accurate/complete score, but say whatever makes you feel better or sleep at night :-)

lol... It doesn't make me sleep better at night... Heck, XBench results aren't something you can use to judge how well something is going to run.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure I'd do well on OpenGL if my card was supported in x86. What do you think it deserves?
