Thanks for posting disk speeds earlier, nice scores, I am going to use your output as a bit of a target due to having fairly similar components (except for my older GFX and slower memory).

 

comparing your new results with the old... cpu threading and quartz has improved, just wondering if you have tweaked anything or if it is just because of the 10.5.2 update?

I bought a missing IO shield for my open box motherboard via intel.com $5.00. I also had to buy a 4 - 8 power connector for the included 500 watt power supply $5.00. NOT bad for $500.00 mac.

I have 277 Points without Disk Test. My Disks are working extremely slow and i don´t know why. With Disk Test i have around 160 Points.

What kind of hard drive do you have? That's an unusally high 4k block random uncached write speed.

Please take in to account the hard drive is IDE

I havent decided if I am willing to dedicate my SATA drive to OSX (if I can even install it on there)
