djgizmo
And that will be able to run OSX86 out of the box? Which flavor / dvd? Reason I'm asking I'm in the process of considering building a pc dedicated to OSX only and I want to make the process as easy as possible. My current setup made it such a pain I could only boot into OSX 1 out 10 reboots. I don't see any wiki updates regarding the on-board Ethernet. luh3417
How about a Dell server that can do this (Dell often has a entry level server at a sale price and you can buy it without any OS, i.e. without Vista)? How about a Dell with an i7 chip? And, how about a Dell laptop? What is best install for the Dell then, Chameleon? gyronic
My local Microcenter has a Dell 530 for $399.99. I'll go pick one up today and give it a go with the Intel driver. If so, I guess I could just buy another disk! Also i'd like to know about djgizmo question as well. That should be an awesome build. It should work with this driver Nice How about a Dell server that can do this (Dell often has a entry level server at a sale price and you can buy it without any OS, i.e. without Vista)? How about a Dell with an i7 chip? And, how about a Dell laptop? What is best install for the Dell then, Chameleon? Depends, with the servers you'll have some research to dive off into, the i7's can work/will work. Check out the threads. I just purchased an d820 notebook, fully vanilla compatible. The xps 1330/1530's make great machines as well as the d620/d630/d820/d830 latitude models. And its hard to really say something is the "best" install, its really whatever works and is easiest for you, all the info you'll need is on these boards for the most part.
