gnaarf
Hi, I tried installing with the iDeneb Boot-DVD. Durning the install everything still went fine, but after boot it hangs at mDNSResponder mDNSResponder-176.2 (Aug 15 2008 14:58:54)[32]: starting /usr/sbin/ocspd[77]: starting . HD is in AHCI mode, onboard LAN disabled, I also tried booting with a removed PCIe LAN, but every time the same. I flashed my BIOS with 1611_BIOS_Asus_P5Q_for_MAC_all_OS_by_Juzzi. At the installation i selected: no audio driver, no ethernet driver, the ICH chipset, no special kernel and all in Fix. My specs: Asus P5Q Intel Q6600 GeForce 9600GT D-Link DGE-530T //edit: iATKOS says: "still waiting for root device"

Which installation are you trying to install..... IDeneb 10.5.5 ? For Ideneb: 1) Flash you Bios with the Modded Bios 2) In the Bios you need to change the Storage Configuration to AHCI 3) Now Boot iDeneb using -v 4) Now Format the Drive as MAC OS Journaled in which you want to install Mac OS X and click Next 5) Now Click on Customize I selected the following option i. Selected X11 ii. I did not select any Kernel since iDeneb keeps Vanilla as Default iii. In Apple SMBios I selected Apple Mac Pro iv. In Video I selected Nvkush and the RAM Size v. Also selected all the Extra Softwares 6) Once it is done try to boot in to MAC OS X. 7) If you are not getting the Boot Menu then you can try Easy BCD Software
gnaarf
Now I made it to get into Mac OS with -x after install. But I'm not able to boot normally anymore, though I installed the kext for my D-Link DGE-530T. Here is the mDNSResponder-message on which it hangs: http://img186.imageshack.us/img186/7527/0000081ox5.jpg
