penmoid
Just installed DARWINE, things were going smoothly running the included apps like notepad, but I figured I'd run the cfg util before I moved on to more complicated apps. I changed the directories around, and now nothing works, so I'm looking for a way to reset all settings and just start over. I cleared the one wine plist file that appeared in spotlight and deleted the whole darwine directory and copied off the image, and same problem. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks. kemosabe
i'm not 100% sure. but i think you need to use terminal and run this command: rm -R .wine this is a system folder created in your user folder when you first run wine. it holds lots of files for your wine install. also, delete the darwine folder from your applications folder. then you can reinstall it and start over from scratch Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/13717-screwed-my-wine-install-up-need-to-reset-everything/#findComment-88166 Share on other sites
