pberthet
Im having heaps of trouble with FCP studio 2 Ive installed it on an HP zd8000 notebook running ideneb 10.5.5 everything ELSE works a treat on the laptop but firstly, when i installed (tried to install) FCP it told me i had 0mb of VRAM... which is untrue, i have 256mb of VRAM according to system information. so i forced the install using pacifist and everything installed correctly to where it should but when i try and run FCP/idvd/dvd studio pro i get an error message "you cannot open this application because it is not supported on this architecture" im a little lost as to where to go next, the FCP disks are legit, im not new to FCP or setting it up but for the life of me i cant get this damn software to run! anyone else run into the same problem? any solutions out there for me? any help would be awesome <3 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/136979-final-cut-studio-2-problem-osx86/ Share on other sites
geek3
The problem is probaly your video card, you might want to flash the eeprom to a mac version. Also the video card has to support Quartz Extreme Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/136979-final-cut-studio-2-problem-osx86/#findComment-969597 Share on other sites
