Boombeng
Hi, Did you try Mcsmart enabler ? If you tell us more about your hardware maybe we can help you
Schakal
What's that? Mcsmart enabler? All I know about the Hardware is that it is a Broadcom BCM94312MCG and it ID is 4324A. I will try it with this "bcm43xx_enabler" script, maybe this works (But I don't think so, my card isn't at the supportet list). What kind of infos do you need? Schakal
If you work on this problem for one week, you shuold have read Mcsmart"s thread in sticky... OK, I know what you mean, I tryed his enabler, but it doesn't work for me I've edited his script but this didn't help, too. I installed Vista onto the 5220, there I got wlan-problems as well! But another kind of problems, it was very difficult to get the correct driver. No, I know that the wlan-card is working (I got no harware-problem). Does someone know a solution for me? @Boombeng: Thanks for the fast answers! Maybe you know someting what could help me?

Allnutz
I managed to get the Broadcom 4312a to be seen by editing IO80211Family.kext´s AppleAirPortBrcm4311.kext´s info.plist cd /System/Library/Extensions sudo nano ./IO80211Family.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleAirPortBrcm4311.kext/Contents/Info.plist <string>pci14e4,4313</string> added this between 4313 and 4318>>>>> <string>pci14e4,4315</string> <string>pci14e4,4318</string> sudo chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions kextcache -k /System/Library/Extensions My broadcom wifi 4312 read in the front side of the adapter that the model is 4324A and under it read to be 4312. Found out that actually the device id is 4315!!! Well i got wifi working.
trabbikevin
I'm thinking about getting this WiFI Card, too. In the thread about the hp pavilion dv7 notebooks, the TS got himself this wifi card and linked a driver for it: http://rapidshare.com/files/280405923/Broadcom_802.11n.pkg Are all of those the same ? I mean are all of them N or are there ones which only support ABG ? Want to buy this one: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...#ht_5508wt_1167 You know if it works ?
