Gave me the circle with the line on first boot, but -v -f fixed that, now I can just let it boot and it goes. Really great job on their part.

After some use, I find it has some issues if I leave it to idle on the desktop, don't know if it's my cpu or what, it just doesn't like being alone or importing 1000's of MP3's into iTunes.

Rename nvenet.kext as follows:

In Terminal

cd /Volumes/Name of your HDD OS X volume/

ls

"just to see where you are, i.e. to see /System etc."

cd /Volumes/Name of your HDD OS X volume/System/Library/Extensions/

ls

sudo mv nvenet.kext nvenet.kext.bad

ls

ls will list the files in System/Library/Extensions/ and you should see nvenet.kext.bad

exit

Reboot with -v -f

@ Enzo Tag

For Ethernet/LAN use nForceLAN.kext, and remove nForcEthernetDriver.kext.......

yayyyy.

I got everything 100% with ipc 10.5.6 and I just used the combo update to go to 10.5.7:) I used the vanilla kernel. But I do have to boot with CPUs=1. But that's the only thing that doesn't work. I used netkass method to get my gtx260 c216 up and running. And my wireless worked OTB. Sound is somewhat flakey (alc883) and my four gbs of ram work amazingly :-)

Thanks everyone for all your help! Especially you OP:-)

Specs one more time

4GB@875hz

eVga gtx260 core 216 (55nm) (netkas method)

Although the vanilla kernel is working.......it is only working after a fashion if you have to boot with cpus=1.......so try Voodoo 9.5.0.......
