10.5.5 update broke realtek alc888 audio

I don't know what happened, but the 10.5.5 update broke my QE and audio, but I was able to get my QE fixed. However, my ALC888 does not want to work with anything I try.

My ALC662-based sound also stopped working on one of my Asus boards following the 10.5.5 update. I guess you have already tried re-patching with the Taruga AppleHDA Patcher v1.20 and the correct ALC888.txt Linux dumpfile?

That is all I had to do with my broken ALC662 to get sound working again.

Wow... the patcher app and link to the dump files worked.. flawlessly. Thank you so much... All my searching didn't bring up anything having to do with the patcher utility.
