ponduz
Been trying several methods to create a OSX installer (Leo4allv3) running from an external USB drive. The problem though is getting the installer to boot. Tried using both GUID partition table and MBR, but sadly none of them worked Is there anyone who can help me? Any help would be greatly appreciated http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?sto...2&lsrc=osxh Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/124256-create-osx-installer-on-external-drive-solved/ Share on other sites
BlackCH
clone the DVD to a USB partition with carbon copy cloner, then get chameleon installer from its home page and install it to that partition... that would do.. ponduz
Ah, thanks alot BlackHC!! I downloaded pcwiz´s OSX86Tools, and used the "Install EFI/Run FDISK" on the partition. Works like a charm! Now I just put new releases on the external drive and install, much easier and a lot quicker!
