Oracle67
Use Kalyway 10.5.2 intel-AMD.iso and make your attempts to install on an external HD. Post the results. I wish you luck. Oracle67
A USB HD or a USB Memory Stick (over 8Gig) it would be perfect for tests. Oracle67
The first time you will boot in to OsX, but after that if you boot in to Vista the MBR will change ...too complicate to explain. Better use an external HD to test install. dTd
okey, shal try to borrow an external hd then, but what shall I do then? somehow disable the other hd and use the external as an "clean" disk or something? I mean if I just connect the external hd and try to lanch the install again I wold be back at the same problem? or will it understand that it should install on the external disk? dTd
aha now I see... but what's kinda lame is that the install stops at "using acpi rsdp revision 2"... and I cant find ASPI and SMART in the bios meny :/ thanks for your patience btw but then again I can choose to boot from the external disk befroe internal disk and that might work Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/123866-is-it-possible-to-install-leopard-on-dv5-1026eo/#findComment-876488 Share on other sites
Oracle67
It is taking time to respond, let the "black screen" to run and be patient, it takes it time to diagnose your hardware and to start.
