munky
AMD is theoretically as possible as SSE2 - what we need is a kernel that does on-the-fly binary patching. Such a thing would solve basically all AMD pain.
nami
Do you know if someone is developing such kernel ? Do you have plans to work on that ?
munky
kernel dev is beyond me, sadly. But I suspect such a thing isn't too far away.. So it sounds like SSE2 retail booting is confirmed right?! :-)
3Dman
hey munky, Is there anyway to disable AppleEFIRuntime.kext because I want to run ToH 9.2.0 kernel because modbin kernel break my sleep Thanks

3Dman
yes you need to find Disabler.kext Thanks I found it. My OS X can now sleep and detected as mac pro But I have problem system.kext on my extensions folder is version 9.4.0 and my kernel is 9.2.0 so I can't mount usb drives Is there any way to fix USB ? munky
I was thinking about this earlier. Have you tried putting System.kext on the ram disk?
3Dman
I was thinking about this earlier. Have you tried putting System.kext on the ram disk? Yes, but I think that the kext in the Extensions folder loads because It's higher version. But I found a solution the problem that IOUSBMassStorageClass.kext doesn't load so I downloaded program called Lingon and made him to load that kext for me every time I start my PC or log in: Download Lingon Then check this PDF and every time you restart or log in this kext will load
