Planck
Anyone using Plex (osxbmc) on a osx86 ? It looks great, but unfortunately i can't get it to play any video files. Every time i try to play a movie the application hangs and I'm forced to force quit. I've looked at both Plex and Osxbmc forums, but i suspect this is a osx86 problem...or maybe just a problem with my setup Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/123123-plex/ Share on other sites
Riley Freeman
I only tried it briefly but it played xvids fine here. Maybe try checking for application errors in the console. Might give you some clue as to what's going wrong. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/123123-plex/#findComment-871023 Share on other sites
Planck
The Plex forum suggested that it might be a problem related to my graphics card and/or OS X... I got a ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT card, anyone having any troubles with it? Cave Man
Did you download the bug-fix from last weekend? It's much stabler. I've even played Blu-Ray rips with it and it handles True-HD and DTS perfectly fine. Planck
Yeah, installed the latest version, still no luck. I'm thinking it may have something to do with the drivers to the graphics card, is there any way to remove the current drivers and install new ones without reinstalling Leopard?
