B612
Hi, Guys! Do you know if it is possible to customize the time we have to wait before MAC OS starts booting? I mean, I think many people like me, when they turn on the PC they get a black screen with a countdown in which we should choose the option for booting. Well, I have something like 7 seconds, but I would need just 1 or 2. Is it possible to change this? I guess there is a file to modify, but I wonder which one it is... Thank you for helping. Yossarian
I'm not sure, but I think the file is com.apple.boot.plist and it is located in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/. Good Luck, Mike Thank you, Mike. You are just right. I have modified the file you suggested, and for the moment I have disabled the Timeout, by typing: <key>Timeout</key> <string>No</string> Before modifying it, instead of "No" I had the number of seconds of Timeout.
