Hi everyone.

I just got a new macbook pro and I'm new to macs.. I've been installing a few things and all of a sudden I'm from a 180 gig hard drive to only 50 gigs available! I want to know if there's a way for me to easily see all the applications and how much space they're taking up so I can quickly get rid of a few things.. something similar to windows's add/remove programs? Thanks!

WhatSize used to be perfect, but now it's shareware that won't scan drives bigger than about 20GB until you pay for it.

Try Disk Inventory X. It does the same thing except it's free and GPL'ed.

No, I just found some stuff on some HDD I had that I thought was deleted!! So far I have created 987MB of extra free space on my 2,7TB system and I've only been at it for 10min! Relly a cool program!
