Just downloaded deadmoo on a Mac took 8 days. ended up in a folder named "Apple-OSX.x86.Developer.Kit.Install.DVD-deadmoo" folder contains deadmoo.nfo, phenix.nfo, tiger.part001.rar ......tiger.part079.rar

Tried to change folder extension to .img .iso .dmg without success what can I do. I know this is probably soo stupid but I haven't come across it.

Thanks

Hmmm...I'm hoping that you have a 915 chipset as I do. Otherwise you will have probs after you burn the DVD with patches....to my knowledge that does NOT work right now on NON 915 chipsets. Maybe its been worked out...(I hope so!)

It is the acutal image of the DVD. You should use stuffit or similar to unarchive JUST the FIRST one. It will take a while, but eventually it works.

BTW->

I'm writing from my homebrew osx86 machine...915 chipset. 2.66 celeron D. 768mb and 100gb HDD.

Check my screenshot...lookin' good :) Still has problems with progams crashing. I'm going to Dual Boot XP or Gentoo :)

Managed to add .rar extension to the folder than was able to unrar it.

When I did I got Marklar-tiger.iso which has an installer that will boot on a mac but not allow me to install onto an external drive

wait, you couldnt unrar it but u did?? umm if u still need help with the unraring part, just unrar the rar files in the folder, not the folder itself.

about the external, im not sure that os x will let ya do that, but im not entirely sure... the only way ive seen mac run on an external was the dd method, which ive done. thats something id have to step down from from here if ur using the dvd. let me kno if you find out how tho!
