djj3w
Hello all! So I've had my main OS as OS X for quite some time now on my T30 and this issue never really bothered me until now when reason would start to "chug" and mess up my output files. Anyways, what happens is, that after a while, when obviously enough heat builds up and your computer kicks in the high RPMs of the fan Mac OS freaks out and starts "chugging". And the timing goes off, sound doesn't play right until it MAYBE buffers, but only in an app like itunes, not embedded things like flash. the video starts lagging and the actual clock is messed up and slow, until i restart and do again, usually cooling isn't that big of a deal, but i've got things setup the way i like now. I've tried replicating this problem in ubuntu and windows XP. doesn't happen, tried Thermal kexts and speedstep ones... help?
