PCWiz, you should contact the person that made EFIStudio. rather than spending your time re-inventing the wheel... people should collaborate to make things better. In my case everything working fine, even Quake 4 for example. i did some testing and found that quicktime 7.5 doesnt like the string for some reason. 7.4 works fine but if i upgrade i get that picture quality. i tried using all of bronya's files minus natit and got the same result. but if i use natit it works fine. so i now just use 7.4 and atiradeonx1000.kext and atirndrv.kext and it works perfect. thanks for the string. boots far much faster and the spinning wheel now shows up properly Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

(And if someone have a EFI string from nVidia Quadro NVS285 / NVS 285 PLZ!!)) Scully Posted December 5, 2011 Share Posted December 5, 2011 Well, I can only say that neither of these solutions (OSX86 Tools or EFI Studio) work for me, and probably a lot of others, too. Running Snow Leopard, neither application will launch; that is, it will crash; so you have no access to those strings anyway.
