I've tried to install osx86 numerous times now, but all have failed. In the end I want to dual boot XP with Leopard. Leo does not recognize my main 500gb Samsung drive, to I've installed an old 60gb drive for Leo, which he can see and install to. Also, I have an ASUS A8V-MX motherboard, and an AMD cpu. Here is my report so far:

Kalyway 10.5.2: gets the acpi error message, I've tried to use tohkernel, but that just brings me back to the darwin screen. -platform=x86pc and -f don't work.

Kalyway 10.5.1: cannot boot the DVD (but the DVD can be booted on my friends Intel PC)

iATKOS v1.0i (with AMD patch): I've installed Leo on the small 60 gb drive using this DVD, but I can't boot into Leopard afterwards (blinking cursor). After I'd flagged the drive as bootable, I got into Darwin, but it rebooted immediately.

So right now, I don't know what to do. I'm currently installed XP on the 500gb drive, so at least something will work, but I really want Leopard on there also. Can someone please help me?

SPECS:

AMD 3200+

ASUS A8V-MX

SATA II Samsung 500 GB (main hdd, Windows XP)

IDE Maxtor 60 GB (secondary drive, Leopard)

ASUS GeForce 7600GS 256 MB AGP

Thanks for the very quick reply =) but I don't think that will help, as I've already tried it. Anyway, I wondering wether Kalyway 10.5.1 is compatible with AMD, as it won't boot on my pc (but does on my friends Intel). Also, why can't I use the tohkernel option with Kalyway 10.5.2? Does maybe anyone know a tutorial where the guy has specs like mine?

EDIT: Updated SP with specs

I've now installed XP, and both version of Kalyway (10.5.1 and 10.5.2) still can't be booted on my computer. I'm going to install iATKOS v1.0i again, to see if I can use the chain0 method to boot it (using Microsoft's bootloader). One quick question though, should I install EFI (as an option when installing Leopard), or should I install the Darwin Bootloader (using the application on the DVD)? Or should I not worry about bootloaders and just install iATKOS and then do the chain0-thing?
