USB don't detect new devices, it only detecs them if I it is plugged in when the PC Boots. Can anyone help me ? How can I fix this Porblem ? It will be great if anyone can help me please. FilipeMB Posted June 6, 2008 Share Posted June 6, 2008 Just confirm that your system.kext version (go to Get More Info click on it at /System/Library/Extensions) is different than the kernel version (go to Apps-Utilities-Terminal and say uname -a. mimimimi Posted June 15, 2008 Share Posted June 15, 2008 I had the same problem and indeed, the system.kext version was different from the kernel version. 9.2.0 and 9.3.0. I installed 2_kalyway_10.5.3_kernel.pkg from the kalyway_10.5.3_ComboUpdate and USB works now. Thanks. Ogawa Posted June 16, 2008 Share Posted June 16, 2008 I've got a similar problem. My USB Mouse and Printer work, but not my keyboard or webcam. My system.kext is the same as my kernel... Any ideas?? If I get this right, the System.kext must be of the exact same Verison. uname -a give 9.2.0 for me and the System.kext is 9.2.2. Not exact right?
