I just today bought a SMC Ez Connect 54G USB stick type SMCWUSB-G for Euro 10 here in the Netherlands.

Working perfectly with the ZD1211 USB Wireless Lan Driver drivers from http://mac.softpedia.com/get/Drivers/Zydas...SB-driver.shtml. See also http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...10.5.2#Wireless for more info.

I am using 10.5.3 (JaS edition) on a Medion MD 96780 laptop to write this reply.

I use a Sweex LW053 but with drivers from their Taiwanese site. It cost about £12/$21. The older drivers on the English site gave me the replug problem - have to unplug and replug in after bootup. That problem went away with the Taiwanese site's newer drivers. Boy was I chuffed when I found that. Pick up is about the same as with the laptop's own wifi when used with Vista. In other words, not fabulous if you're in a weak signal area. I would submit that it would pay to get one that doesn't improve greatly with the use of an optional vegetable strainer used as an amplifying dish dealy! Oh, yes, google is full weird and wonderful projects and the fan-outable rice/veggie strainer actually works to some degree.
