LucasIsEpic Posted May 30, 2008 Share Posted May 30, 2008 hello hackingtosh users, just wanted to let you all know that my previous attempts have failed and i wud like to know if there is a release to support my hard ware yet. i recently got some upgrades so i hope it makes it leopardworthy, please reply soon as im absoulutly DIEING to have leopard on my pc =/ specs are in sig (where they shud be =]) ps i get two errors one disk gives me a firewire error wether its off in bios or not :s and i get the dreaded still waiting for root device on the other- ive been told it cud be the jumper/cable positions on my dvd and hd drives can anyone confirm if this can be an issue? write back soon i really want leopard. and ive donated to the OSXx86 community a few times too so spend it wisely =] Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/107689-leopard-release-for-my-hardware-update-still-unresolved/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

digitallysick Posted May 30, 2008 Share Posted May 30, 2008 are they ide drives? or sata, if they are both ide try this Put the hard disk on primary ide port with master jumper on Put the DVD/CD on primary ide port also with slave jumper on and then it goes on installing (slowly)….
