Mobility HD 3650, i have tried various kexts, installed re-installed so many times. tried combination of kexts, used the new kexts from the new macbook pkg. Nothing works , only garbage on screen. In safe mode , the mobility HD3650 card gets identified, vram correct , ci says software , QE not supported, no resolution. I used natit. crystalzak , found these device id in the new macbook update pkg. 0x95981002 is Ati Radeon HD 3650 0x95911002 is ATI MOBILITY Radeon HD 3650 in the new macbook update pkg he posted it here on this thread http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...mp;&do=findComment&comment=938550 Im sure this should give a boost to mobility in some way, if it is what it seems to be.... I've read the whole internet for a sollution, but with no luck. I know it is an old card, but, still, it used to work. Is there anything I can do about it? (Besides buying a new one. Do you happen to know what is necessary to get dual monitors hdmi/dvi, dvi/vga,hdmi/vga working on my Sapphire 3650? All the ports work independantly but not together. Thanks. I'm using a Gigabit GA-P35 motherboard, Visiontek 3850HD 256mb (9505) video, 4g ram. Install using Kalyway 10.5.2, Install completes fine but on reboot get the white and black checkerboard pattern. Boot safemode -x tried the sticked Natit drivers in the forum, modifyed the ATIK2000 ktext info.plist file with my device id, but that version of natit causes my system to panic. Reinstalled with a fresh install, no graphics drivers installed. Tried your driver in the list in your first post in this thread, no joy, same checkerboard pattern. I then installed your updated driver in that same post, and voila, 1680x1050 with QE and CI. but unfortunately, I have white menus. I'm going to go through the pages above again to see if I missed a solution for this, but if you or anyone else has any thoughts I'd love to hear it. Apple .kexts Using that lastexile natit : KERNEL PANIC, Using gfxstring: blue screen I only get this card to work, using gfxstring + using Triakis insted of Lamna framebuffer plugin (in ATINRDV.kext). Has anyone also that MSI 3850 (working ? with orig. Apple drvs + lastexile Natit or gfxstring) I believe that some 3850 cards have different bios (and or some HW-extras) that made them not working with lamna framebuffer. There is something wrong with ATI34xx... after install all kexts from the archive and reboot, the screen is blank even in safemode. I've tried to change id's but no succes. I think there is much more to do and the work of drivers it is not resumed at changing id in plists. But it shows a little little progress from black screen What should be worked next? Framebuffer? An other Natit? Or waiting for a HD3650 macbook... ??
