Alex_Chernyy Posted October 21, 2009 Share Posted October 21, 2009 Hello anyone. I use Ideneb 10.5.8 with kernel voodoo 9.5.0, my ATI card HD 2600 Pro PCI-E with ID 9589. When i install driver http://tinyurl.com/7s74u4 and reboot system, i can see apple logo and PC boot, but when open desktop my screen is black. All program work fine, bus screen black. I try use DVI connect and DVI2VGA adapter, but screen still black. Can anybody help me with this problem. Sorry for my english, i from Ukraine and usually speak ukrainian. tatapoum Posted October 30, 2009 Share Posted October 30, 2009 Hi, I can't enable QE/CI on my HD2600 Pro PCIe. My system is a 10.5.7 from the iDeneb 10.5.7 DVD. Everything is working properly except hardware acceleration. Ive tried the installer on this thread but when I reboot, everything is ok until I should see the desktop. Instead, the screen displays some kind of blurred checkerboard. The driver included in the iDeneb DVD works but no QE/CI. I've also tried to add the Natit.kext, but in vain. reason4u Posted October 31, 2009 Share Posted October 31, 2009 Hi, can you help me with Ati Radeon HD 4650 1 GB mobility, I couldnt find any driver for it I have HP Pavilion DV6-1341EO Intel Core 2 due T6600 2,2GHz, Ram 4Gb DDR3 I installed iDeneb 1.3 (1.5.5) then update it to 10.5.8 from apple. DVI port working (only one tested) Problem: Black screen and computer freeze after boot on ipc OSX86 10.5.6 final the only solution that worked for me was update the driver. there has to be something wrong with the default driver that comes with Black ipc OSX86 10.5.6 final. I tried every possible solution on this forum to get my HD2400PRo to work and this thread is the one where I get the best results (at least I got a good resolution of 1920x1200) but still no QE/CI ... I've tried a few different kexts I've found online. Now I came to this thread and tried the install pkg on the 1st page of this thread. It detects the card as a ATI HD 2600 XT. I also have no QE/CI. And my max res is 1024x768 still. system specs: amd x2 5000+ Black Edition asus m2n-mx se plus ATI HD 2600 Pro PCI-E 4GB RAM iatkos v7 10.5.7 installed 120gb IDE drive ide dvdrw Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance. drewlsvern Posted November 18, 2009 Share Posted November 18, 2009 Well I managed to get to the point of being able to support 1280X1024 resolution which is great, but still no CI/QE support or dual monitors either. I used the instructions from here. Then I decided I would try the pkg installer from this thread again, so I installed it and restarted. Now I get past the apple screen on boot to both displays being stuck with a blank gray screen, no mouse cursor or anything just blank. Anyone have an insight on a solution? drewlsvern Posted November 19, 2009 Share Posted November 19, 2009 So I decided to start from scratch again with a different distro. I did a fresh install of iPC 10.5.6 and used the installer package on the 1st page of the forum. And Voila, it works. I have QE/CI and dual monitors. Although for some reason I can only use 1 DVI and the 2nd Monitor has to be VGA. I'm thinking the 2nd port doesn't work because it's an HDMI port, but aren't they technically the same thing? Anyhow, the only thing I've noticed is that the screen seems to flicker weird every now and then, but for the most part all is well. DV Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
