rimmi2002
I am having problems with Sleep. I installed Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD. Everything works well. The computer goes to sleep and wakes up fine also, but the problem is that when it wakes up from sleep, the internet no longer works and mac does not recognize my onboard LAN anymore. I have the restard to get the internet working? Any work around for this? This is case for both the sleep kernel and the vanilla kernel. My system config is is my sig. Thanks. CuriousMike
I just built my machine with a Gigabyte GA-945GCM-S2L motherboard, and other than your particular issue, everything runs fine. In a thread regarding this board, someone noted the same issue. His solution was to assign a static IP to his system; this will only work if you are going thru a router. I am not sure how to set the IP address to static on the router...its assigned through a DHCP server. What worked for me though is going into network settings--> click on advanced --> click on renew DHCP server. It gets the internet working again. I am connected through a netgear router.
